Dr. Sumayya Ebrahim is a highly experienced gynaecologist who’s been a member of the South African College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology since 1999. She runs a clinic called Vaginations, where women can seek advice and medical care for their reproductive health.

A key reason why she deserves to be on this list is her keen use of modern technology. An example of this is her vaginal laser service, which uses the Vaginal Incontilase Laser Machine to perform non-invasive surgery for urinary incontinence treatment.

It’s also quite amazing that she can also perform a range of gynaecological surgeries, like vaginal hysterectomy and laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Overall, I find her services more than satisfactory. I just wish that she would implement more consistent operating hours so patients wouldn’t find it difficult to visit her.

Dr. Frances Paterson is a gynaecologist known for her compassionate and sincere approach. A Master of Medicine graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand, she became more interested in gynaecology and obstetrics during her years of training in Gauteng’s teaching hospitals.
